Herr Dietz

Last Wednesday morning as I left the flat just before 8 - cutting it fine as usual for the bus - I started jogging down the road towards the bus stop 60 metres or so away when some bloke in a long, dark coat approached from the opposite direction. It wasn't until I'd just passed him that I realised that the man in question was non other than Herr Wolfgang Dietz, Weil's Oberbürgermeister supremo. Being a proud Weil citizen, I wanted to run back and shake his hand, but I thought better of it and got on the bus instead.
